Anthony Bostock speaking on Recipe for revival
In the past, Anthony was a drug dealer. Violence was the main tool of his trade and he was a football hooligan from the age of 15. He was passionate about his lifestyle, so passionate that it took him to prison!
Then, in prison, life as he knew it came to a stand still. He would go to the Chapel to meet his mates for a drug deal. But he picked up a book and it put him on a path that began to ask a lot of questions about his lifestyle. His next book was the Bible. He actually read it not to seek God but, with a passion, to disprove God existed. He hoped to prove that everyone in the Chapel was loopy. It turned out completely the other way around. Anthony is currently part of the core team at Walk Ministries, a Christian ministry that helps men who come out of prison. He attends Charis Bible College as a student. And he seeks to share his passion for Christ and lead ordinary men to do mighty works by the power of Christ in them. He is now married, a father of three boys and is part of the congregation of Blue Sky Church, Stoke-on-Trent. |
Jonathan Bellamy speaking on Take Courage... I AM
Jonathan Bellamy is CEO of Cross Rhythms, a media initiative based in Stoke-on-Trent that runs a local FM community radio station, supports 2 other Cross Rhythms FM stations in Plymouth and Teesside and recently launched an online station based in Bethlehem for Palestinian Arab youth. Their approach is marketplace ministry – looking to engage their broadcasting platforms with the wider world outside the church and so help contribute to mixing the Kingdom of God into the marketplace. With a desire to raise up the next generation of ‘media missionaries’ they have also set up an accredited Media Training Centre. Jonathan leads Cross Rhythms with his wife Heather. They have been married for 18 years and live in Stoke-on-Trent.
